As a Stavanger2008 main sponsor, TOTAL E&P NORGE AS continues our traditional support of arts and culture. The company is confident that an exciting cultural life provides a source of inspiration for new knowledge and new ideas. Perhaps culture is the largest and most important source of energy there is.

On 23 March 2006, TOTAL E&P NORGE signed the main sponsor agreement with Stavanger2008, with a financial ceiling of NOK 12 million. This is a further commitment from our side to a cooperation that has been going on since the autumn of 2003, when TOTAL E&P NORGE decided to support the application to become Capital of Culture. We hope the partnership will inspire further growth and development for all parties concerned.
