”Tou Works” is a production laboratory linked with Tou Scene Centre for Contemporary Art. Local, regional and international artists will meet up in Stavanger to work together on interdisciplinary projects. The objective is to build up long-term competence for the benefit of the region.

The main projects in ”Tou Works” are called ”Worklabs”, comprising a team of artists in creative cooperation throughout the year. From this cooperation springs ”Seeds”; five smaller projects in which regional artist are invited to participate each year.

”Tou Works” has its own website with room for discussions, documentation, resource exchange and development. Last but not least, the result of the worklabs will be presented to the public.

During Stavanger2008, the projects ”TW1” and ”TW2” will be presented to the public.
